Hi everyone

Hi, I'm a MtF transsexual that's recently started on hormones and am very unsatisfied with the appearance of my VERY ugly balls.

I am certain about my transitioning and have been frustrated that the need to live full time for at least a year before being able to get SRS. I've been tempted to bypass the process somewhat and use a burdizzo to set things right. Either on my own or with assistance. Yes, I know that's not especially the best choice, but unless I can convince my doctor to let me have the surgery early I'm likely to act on my urge to "move things along on my own".

I'm not a huge fan of having a penis either, but I need to keep it intact so they can use it for vaginoplasty.

Burdizzo may work on animals but its not that effective on humans. Are you trying to render your testicals non-functional or are you trying to damage them enough to warrant removal? From what I hear you shouldnt get the testicals removed unless you are slated to have SRS within the year because to the scrotum may shrink.

Welcome to the Eunuch Archive, holdzamayo. There is no explicit requirement to live full-time before having your testicles removed for transgender reasons. Provided your therapist discusses all the necessary topics with you, and you've shown a serious commitment to progressing in an MtF role, two referral letters are generally all that is necessary for any WPATH surgeon. Regarding atrophy/shrinkage of the scrotum, this can be minimized by regular massage/manipulation of the scrotal skin after your surgery has healed. It's very elastic tissue and estrogen helps make it more so.

In my case, I was sick and tired of the damned things controlling my desires and especially the sheer unpleasantness of having them there. Ethanol injections (you really should read the thread here!) stopped their function and Dr. Reed finally removed them at my request.

Thanks for the replies.

I want them GONE. If not gone, then tiny ineffective little things. I don't mind stretching my sack while I wait for SRS.

over the years, I've tortured them by binding, impact, etc. I have a veriocele on the right one and the left is still normal. I'm guessing that they're not producing the right amount of T, since I developed gynecomastia when I was only about 23 and in good physical shape.

Even though I'm on HRT and feeling MUCH calmer as my libido subsides and the E kicks in, the ugly things remain and my therapist is hesitant to recommend to anyone about undergoing an early orchidectomy. I recently learned of the doc in Michigan, so that's a really good option. one wonders about his professional scruples, but then again, he provides a much needed service to the community.

I'm honestly worried about poking my balls with a needle. I can't imagine that feels very good. :/ Does it numb them fully? Enough to use a burdizzo without pain (other than crushing the scrotum a bit)?

I've done a lot of looking at burdizzo technique. It appears I need to get the cord in exactly the right spot then quickly crush it. I have access to prescription meds (prescribed to me, thank-you-very-much), so I thought about dosing myself up a bit first, numbing the area with ice and just doing it. I've had it in place many time so far and trying to decide to do it or not.

About the only thing holding me back is the perception that I'm being "self-destructive" and may affect my transition. it would also suck to NOT kill the damn things and have to undergo the pain of trying.
