I just registered last night but I've been lurking the board for a few years now. I'm an MTF who is into hard rock music, video games, ballet and cheesy comedy movies.

About my transition, I can't find any therapists in my area I'm comfortable talking with, so I'm pre HRT (minus some estrogen I did self med and ran out ) and pre transition. I am having severe difficulty with an overactive sex drive. More often than not I cannot get anything accomplished in the morning without having an orgasm, which is infuriating. However through this site I found Dr Mark Arnkoff's website and am scheduled for a bilateral orchiectomy on the 22nd

Having looked at your profile information, I can understand the difficulty of putting on a masculine front; doing that was so difficult for me that I never really tried it.

I have wondered, occasionally and only briefly, if I ought to revise my profile inner gender identity, to "post-menopausal female."

I'm thinking the worst part of it is going to be the drive and the monday after as I'll have school from 11AM until 8 PM 2 days after having them removed lol.

I'm driving from a small town sixty miles northwest of Boston (give or take) to southfield michigan, and driving 170 miles out of my way to avoid 2 canadian border crossings on a friday afternoon (I can't imagine them being pleasant, and I'm probably saving time in the long run) Roughly 14 and a half hours each way. Fun
