There are way to many variables to make firm conclusions. If this soldiers wife has had sex and has had kids, she might not care as much about sex as you think. Women aren't like men who think about sex 24/7, women actually care more about love, feelings, cuddling, etc. Sure she's probably still young enough to enjoy sex and he might be able to give her all the sex she needs orally or with a dildo or just with his hands, it's up to her. Certainly it can and might cause problems, they'll need counseling and are probably already getting it. In reality, the man will have more problems adjusting then her. He has no legs, probably no genitals, how do you go on living? Maybe they were able to salvage something, some portion of his penis or testicles, we won't know unless he tells us and that's probably not going to happen. So we're left to conjecture.
1 - What would you do

married and only twenty five years old?
2 - Would you take testosterone which would make you sexual and make you think sexual thoughts? How frustrating would that be?
3 - The doctors would probably tell you to take testosterone in order to stay strong and manly, but for what purpose?
4 - Would you, if it were possible, seek a penis transplant? Like the one that was done in China?
There are options, he could even be fitted with a penis prosthetic, but everyone is different and so everyone will probably decide on something different. In actuality, these soldiers who've lost their genitals might actually benefit the transgender eunuch community. Maybe penis transplants will become more common and maybe doctors will seek to learn more about eunuch men.
