Farlutal from Goldpharma
Has anyone else out there tried the 500mg vials of Farlutal that Goldpharma sell? (Farlutal has the same active ingredient as Depo-Provera, ie, medroxyprogesterone acetate.) I injected one vial of it last Friday and have noticed no effect whatsoever - haven't been able to test my T level, but no noticeable drop in libido or frequency of erections, for example. DP takes a week or so to fully take effect, but I would have noticed some difference by now given that there's more than 3 times the dose as in DP. Anyone who can shed some light?

Re: Farlutal from Goldpharma
Hello,
I was on the Depo Provera for almost 3 weeks before I saw any effect. I also started with a double dose on my first injection, so I wouldn't give up on it just yet.
Good Luck,
Jimmy

Re: Farlutal from Goldpharma
It is not a quick response. It takes weeks and maybe a couple of months. It is different for each person.
I take a Depo Provera 150 MG monthly. The strange thing is that it was so slow that I never really "noticed" a chnage. After about 6 weeks my insane libido was greatly reduced.
Just give it time and be careful about giant doses.
Good luck to you

Hi there,
Yes, it did work, and in fact I got my second dose this week and injected it last night. It was vastly more effective than DP (which, during my period of several months on it late last year, seemed fairly weak), as should be expected, although I was surprised by how long it took to take effect. But once it did, I have had hardly any erections and my mind hasn't been troubled by fantasies, which is mostly what I use it to get rid of. The only disadvantage is the lack of a pre-filled syringe, which means you have to make it up yourself from the vial. But it worked a treat and I plan to keep using it.
