That’s an extreme example where the actual reason why the MacGuffin is such a big deal is left out of the equation. When the stakes are big enough, the reason tends to be self evident. The Ark of the Covenant in Raiders has to be kept safe form the Nazis. The asteroid in Armageddon has to be destroyed before it hits Earth. You don’t really need to go into great detail to persuade an audience that these are goals worth pursuing.

And since this is just a blog read for relaxation, it's a who cares. But considering that this blog is about writing, it's an embarrassment of proofreading. The need for another set of eyes.

Spell check did it again. When we speak we sound more correct than when we type and spell check changes the word.

English is flat-out ridiculous as a language. Speaking it isn't so bad - spelling it is. There seem to be more exceptions than there are rules to have exceptions TO!
