Need to know

Hi, I like the new jacket of the EA, but I have two questions:

1) I kind of like the sun bursts (reputations) members obtained. Is this feature obsolete now? I accepted advice more readily from people based on their reputation.

2) There seem to be now spell checker in the editors anymore. We non-english folks kind of need this feature in order not to look like fools.

The starbursts are a thing of the past. The closest that remains are the small green squares - pips above one's avatar / below your name. There is a spell checker in the posting box, but you have to click on post, then click on "Go Advanced." It is in the upper right corner.

I have looked at the advanced posting box and I did not find a spell checker icon. I use Firefox 6.0.

I happen to be using Safari 5.1 with Microsoft Windows XP, and I have not found a way to turn spell-checking off. It is not yet apparent to me what spell checker is checking my spelling, nor how to add words to the list of properly spelled words. Unless I forgot something, I never came upon any option regarding spell checking...
