It was inspired as a place for narcissists but,

has morphed into a thread to communicate with those whose PM box is full. In that regard the thread has been successful.

And the title suits either errand.

Lately, its mostly used to tell people that their message box is full and isn't taking any new PMs. Last few posts: I am a very good professional cook (technically I qualify as a chef [someone who supervises other cooks, same root as chief] but the term has become meaningless.) Moi (as do I) likes to smoke. He gets the munchies, particularly after reading my comments on food, so he offered to pay (considerably) for express shipping of goodies if I were to cook them for him and another friend here on EA. So I dry cured a whole brisket into corned beef for about 10 days, cooked it and cabbage, Made a couple of French Apple/Cranberry Cakes, some multi-grain sourdough potato cloverleaf rolls, and a batch of raw cranberry relish, (the recipe for which has been on cranberry packages for 50 years or so). There have been a lot of PMs flying around between three of us. Yesterday I posted two boxes of goodies to Moi and his Friend. Moi got his this afternoon, and tried to message me about the cranberry relish I made, but my message box was full. Hence his post and my reply.

Even Paul Harvey would have wanted to know Moi and his friend's experience with the food you prepared. Your description has been enough to make me long for the Carnegie Deli.

I only tried the cranberry relish so far and I recommend it highly.

Be sure to require not too sweet.

I hope to place yummy orders in the future.

Transward, when will it no longer be reasonable to find the fresh stuff for

the cranberry relish. C'berries are seasonal aren't they?

Frozen cranberries are available year round. They work almost as well. And, hopefully, unless the USPS messes up the system again, my experience here should make it easier and cheaper next time. Local post office hadn't heard of the latest part of "if it fits it ships" program they have been advertizing constantly on the TV, and I had to ship weight/distance rates about twice as expensive, since perishables didn't allow delay. Next time will be easier.

Be very curious for your opinion re. the gray corned beef & cake.
