Old law of supply and demand. When he started offering orchiectomies without a bunch of hassle, he charged $1500, didn't take long to go to $1800 and then $2000 which is what I paid four years ago. At that time he was getting ready to raise it to $2500 which he did and now it's $3000.

If you can get it done cheaper by a licensed Urologist, I'm sure there are lots of folks here who would like to know.

I am scheduled for my Orchiectomy with Dr. A on July 23rd. He still charges $3,000.

Now we're getting, "It needs to be near a place where I have friends and/or relatives..." This is much like the continual drum beat from folks of, "My help needs to be nearby, in the same town preferably." It's a road block. If you want this done, you'll find a way to make it work. Otherwise I'll assume you're just here wanking and never intending to do anything because you keep throwing road blocks up.

It was neither time as I had two operations one then later the other an the recovery was no big deal either time! Can go back to work in a couple of days at the most and I run heavy equipment and mechanics. Calcium chloride injections are more problem by far and I went to work the next day every time! So if you really want it all like LT says suck it up and just do it or forget it!

I'd recommend more time off than a couple of days. I'm amazed you went back to work that quickly. Of course, each person responds to this removal differently.

I never said it wasn't miserable but if determined or necessary enough one can do a lot of things!

I texted Dr A yesterday, he still charges $3000, soon, I will be next one join the eunuch club.
