I asked the question before. Isn't it PC for us to be more culturally tolerant of the ways

of Asian ladies? It was my understanding the Thai had higher numbers of incidences then the Viet ladies.

The epidemic at the time of Bobbitt involved Latinas. One in East LA too. I guess they have mellowed as a population.

The Hard Candy movie is one of my hubby's favorites, though I've seen only parts of it. I do recall that the actress remarks, as the testicles go down the garbage disposal, "Guess they weren't brass afterall," which I thought was a nice turn of a phrase.

Wendy Williams Jokes About Man’s Penis Being Cut Off

Posted on July 15th, 2011 at 6:41 am

Wendy Williams has a wicked sense of humor.

The talk show host, who was caught by photographers Wednesday night at Boa, was asked about the California woman who cut off her husband’s penis and put it in a garbage disposal.

The Dancing with the Stars alum joked, ”It was more efficent than throwing it in a field where they could pick it up. If you’re going to do it — do it properly.”

You’ve gotta love a woman who’s all about etiquette.

Tim (my hubby) is obsessed with this case, as he was with the Bobbitt case a couple of years after we married. He has a fantasy, which I humor him with, that I'll do this sort of thing to him, though in his fantasy, it's for my amusement rather than out of anger. The TV show "The Talk", featuring Sharon Osbourne calling the Becker incident "fabulous" and getting the studio audience of women laughing about the man's losing his penis, really got him excited. (He's watched it probably 10 times on YouTube.) I'm not about to cut his penis off, but I do joke with him about the incident. He'll ask what's for dinner, and I'll answer, "Tofu soup." But I do find it interesting, and a bit disconcerting, that, in today's society, it seems to be acceptable for women to make jokes about sexual mutilation of men on daytime TV but not vice versa.

That's interesting because I'm obsessed with these stories in the same way. I just (re)watched Hard Candy again last night. I scour the news every day to find out more info or a new story -- you can see I'm one of the top posters in this category and have been doing it since 2002.

And yeah, it is a huge double-standard and really should be called out more. It really is exactly equivalent to a man getting mad at his wife and sawing off her clit. Geez, that's really funny. I wonder what a clit sounds like in the garbage disposal? I wonder if the dog will eat it? ... really funny jokes.😠

Just curious. You've mentioned your wife in other posts. Is she aware of your fascination with this topic? Does she get a kick out of humoring you on this the way I do for Tim? Or is this a topic you've been reluctant to share with her?

Sandi,

Do you think Tim, your hubby, might eventually act out his fantasy an cut off his penis? I ask this because I know first hand that sometimes fantasies can turn into realities. In fact, psychologically speaking, if a fantasy is persistent and sought out often enough, there is a high percentage that the person fantasizing will act out the fantasy in real life. I fantasized for years about being castrated and then one day the desire became so compelling that I had to actually be castrated and was.

She's fully aware of it, as she's often had to take me to the hospital, or otherwise nurse my wounds, clean up when she finds me in the bathroom covered with blood. Recently after I injected Depo Provera directly into my testicles I woke her up to tell her, in case I had any bad effect.

She just tolerates it like any other self-destructive behavior a husband might have (drinking, drugs, etc.) with sadness but love. She's a really good wife. She's also really sexual and seems to be really into me, so it is perplexing to her that I do this. She is not at all into any sort of pain or damage. It is not even mildly interesting to her.

"DONG" seems to be a common word in the Vietnamese language. They may have a fettish for it. Might even call it "DONGING"

I don't believe Tim would cut off his own penis, though he loves to think I might. His fantasy involves having a woman take his penis for her amusement, preferably while he watches, tied up and helpless with her tormenting him for hours by stimulating him sexually but denying him relief. In fact, I imagine that if a dozen beautiful naked women were involved, laughing at his predicament and ultimately playing with his severed penis before destroying it before his eyes, he'd call that ideal. I don't think self-mutilation has much appeal to him, and it's not living without a penis that he craves. It's the one-time scene where it's taken from him as he struggles to prevent it that excites him. And he's frustrated that it's unlikely to happen and that, even if it did happen, it could happen only once. This much I think I understand about him. What I don't understand is why. He says the fantasy has been there since he was in about sixth grade and says he doesn't understand why himself, so he can't explain it to me. The main reason I'm here at this Web site is to try to get some insight into what makes this fantasy so compelling for him.
