Now that we are getting closer to the Midwest MoM event (something everyone should come to - I'm not joking) we want to run a poll again. Please respond no matter if you are coming or not.

I expect that some of us will need to insert the young'uns (of whatever age) into the water at the upper end and then travel down to the lower end to prepare for their arrival – by eating and drinking to their health and great adventure.

Like Jesus said there will be a group that won't go for the ride but will be on the shore watching the world go around, laughing, talking and fixing lunch.

I'll be one of them while River takes the ride.

It may sound somewhat un-adventurous but it should be rather fun and if it gets hot you can wade a little bit into the river to cool off so you might want to bring some old tennis shoes anyhow. Oh. hey! I still gots all your cooler stuff from last year.

Hi folks. Bad news and good news. The good news is that I started a new job on Wednesday, and in this economy, I can use the extra income. The bad news, of course, is that I'm now unable to attend. My regrets to all, and have a great time.
