I just finished a 75-minute fast walk up the street and in the humid desert... pugh... many things to reflect about and cogitate over.

Chick Hearn (Lakers play-by-play announcer) is not doing too well, and he is 39 years older than me. I hope that I can last that long. I also pray that he can have a few more years with his wife of 64 years.

Well, not everything revolves around sports but I am on an extended birthday holiday weekend so I am looking forward to many sports shows on TV this weekend including a D-backs game on TV tomorrow.
