Where have all the preachers gone?
In recent years every disaster has some damn preacher saying this was god getting even, so why are they so quiet now.
We have had flooding, tornado, heavy rains, hot weather, drought, and forest fires. One of these has hit most of the USA so where are all the preachers gone?

They were swallowed by the floods, blown away by tornados, swept up by the rains and were so parched they could not speak with swollen tongues. Or God told them they were wrong and to shut up.

In "The O.C", the Crystal Cathedral is dissolving.

filed for federal bankruptcy protection in October. Last week, a reorganization plan was submitted to the court that involves selling the 30-acre campus. The church, which has seen a steady decline in donations in the last few years, owes more than $50 million to more than 500 creditors and vendors.
The decision paves the way for the church, founded by televangelist pioneer Robert H. Schuller, to have the exclusive right to auction off the 30-acre Garden Grove campus and site of the Hour of Power broadcast to the highest bidder. . . ."
Schuller started out on Sundays preaching at a drive in theater. Yes, a drive in church ministry. Then onwards and richer. Coming down like Babel.

And there are no more Drive In theaters to start over.
Maybe a YouTube Ministry.
I'm gonna be rich. < never mind >

Slightly off topic but the Chrystal Cathedral was considered architecturally daring and avant guard when it was built.

I think the Rapture came when we weren't looking, and they've all gone to Heaven. The other night, I saw a preacher floating up to Heaven.
It was pretty gross; he was naked - and fat.

The good ones are still around. The noisy, blowhard, a-hole ones are hopefully all in hell now.

Yup. Remember Pat Robertson and his remarks that Haiti suffered because of a deal with the devil? Where was he when Japan was rocked? I'm sure Japan's past could be a culpability issue.
Nuff said.

River,
They got all of the money out of the poor they could, now they are into oil and the stock market and hitting the middle class. I dont remember of any preacher who wasnt taken down by couruption or sexual misconduct.
