Re: Rapture
Does the rapture occur all around the world simultaneously at six P.M. today? Or does it happen at six P.M. in each time zone? If it happens simultaneously, when does it happen? Is it at six P.M. Greenwich time? Is that daylight saving time or standard time?

The Mayan's didn't have a bible, so what makes them any more relevant than anything else. Maybe when the Mayan ended is when they stopped working on their calendar. And from there superstition and rumor took over.
It's all a bunch of poppycock (aka: crapola)

Re: Rapture
I'll be at a picnic with my other transgender friends this afternoon. I understand our being publicly out and about and feeling secure in who we are is yet another sign of the impending apocalypse. If that's the case, bring it on. I'd rather go out being happy with my friends than sitting at home fretting about anything.
Of course, what's another five months of hell on earth? I've lived through 52 years of hell on earth, already. You just gotta look for the kingdom of God, it's really all around you. Hell means not being wise enough to see the beauty and wonder that is already given to you.

Re: Rapture
There is a 99% chance that the rapture will not happen today. The Bible is really clear..In an hour that expect not, that is when the rapture will happen. When we least expect it, that is when it will happen.

Re: Rapture
From what I gather, it's all supposed to start at 6:00 PM PDT, at which time, earthquakes will open all the graves and let their occupants out. The saved will become alive - think Night of the Living Dead - and the unsaved will still be dead. The saved will ascend to Heaven. The rest of us - definitely including myself in the rest - will stick around as God knocks us off during the next five months. The world will be completely destroyed by October 21, 2011.

I went to the store and bought boxes of wine. In case of earthquakes I do not have to worry about bottles breaking. Just big 5 liter bags of wine in cardboard containers. I will not have to dig through the rubble for a cork screw.

Re: Rapture
In further research on the Net, I can't determine if it 6PM PDT or not. One place said it was 6PM New Zealand time. If we get past 6PM PDT, though, I guess we're good.
I am so worried.
Still hoping to get off work early tonight, if the world ends. Otherwise, I have to work until 8PM PDT.

It would be great fun to watch the reaction of the "true believers" who would think that they were among those left behind.....
Maybe put torn open Levitra packaging in some pockets. I mean, being naked and all . . . .
