Tens of thousands of years ago a group of venturers had left out of Africa but instead of going north like the rest of the group headed eastward over to the Indus River and proceded up the length of it. But it was too cold up in the Himilayas where the Indus River begins, and not wanting to go back to where they started from, and thinking that there might just be another river like it they proceded to go further east. Meanwhile another group of venturers decided to settle in the Indus Valley. Today both of these peoples call themselves Indians.
