If you are over weight, stop eating as much and walk an hour a day (not a slow walk). One of my friends lost some weight and became more active, went from insulin dependent, to just watching his diet.

Re: Depo Provera & Diabetes
I tried Depo Provera last year for a few months. I have type1 diabetes and normally have excellent control. Within days of starting DP my blood glucose leves became extremely erratic at some points 3 times normal levels. Tried adjusting insulin levels according to my carb intake which helped somewhat but found it incredibly difficult. Was having to take twice the amount of insulin i normally take. Stopped after 3 months but it took a few weeks for blood glucose levels to get back to normal.
I wouldnt recommend it for anyone with diabetes. Hopefully theres another way of lowering T without the health risk re diabetes.
Hope this is of some help.

On set of diabetes has been reported after castration or taking anti-androgen's. HRT male or female type seems to regress the diabetes, in the individuals affected.

It may be possible but, if you did have diabetes before castration (or anti-androgen drugs) some may develop diabetes, and going on HRT (or stopping anti-androgen drugs) may regress the diabetes, just like some can lost weight and their diabetes improves. If you developed diabetes after you were castrated then taking some type of HRT mite improve your diabetes.

Thanks G
I understand that now I have stoped the anti-androgen drugs since I was diagnosed diabetic.
And when I finaly get castration in a few years I will go on hrt I think in the meantime ill just have to cope.
Thanks 1F1TGO
