Real advise and Help Needed

Hi to you all. I am a 47 year old male. I want to loose my ability to get errections. I have tried Chemical Castration.. Depo-provera 150mg. Estroderm 100 mgs. premarin 5mgs daily. I even injected directley into my balls 150 mgs each of depo-provera. OUCH it hurt for a week. I can not do that again. I do not have alot of money but these testicles must go!!! I am seeking coments, and any help I can get. I live in Cleve. Ohio Is there anyone out there who can comment on injections to the testicles? Does anyone know of a chemical called Chem-cast for castration by injection to calfs. I would like to do this quickly and very quietly. Please help me out here. prncalexe

How much money have you been spending on those chemicals? I ask because you might want to consider a large one-shot expense and visit Drs. Spector and Kimmel in Philadelphia for your castration. Failing that, we have several members of the Eunuch Archives who have used Androcur with excellent results, and I am sure they will be posting in this thread soon.

By the way, Depo-provera into the testicles doesn't work. It has to be injected into the buttocks. And Depo-lupron is what Dr. Kimmel has prescribed at times.

Thankyou for your reply!!!!! i am taking androcur which i failed to mention. i take 150mgs in am and 150 at night. Now i have only been doing this for about a month and a week now. I also recently got Aldactone but haven't tried that. If Dr. Spector was around the corner I would have been done with it, but would have to pay him a third a third and a third. prncalexe

I have used a combination of Aldactone, Estroderm and oral estrodiol and it took me about 8 weeks to feel the effects you want to achive. I have read others posts here about Androcur, and it seems to work faster, but I can not give you advice on that. If you want to see immediate results I would suspect that physical castration is your only answer. Give it a little more time as what you are taking now should give you results very soon.

Androcur is much more expensive than Aldactone. I would consider switching to Aldactone to save some money for Drs. Spector and Kimmel also.

Dear Chris: Thankyou for your help. I am investigating a nurse, cutter, or MD. I am glad for the encouragement. I will keep on going. I would really like to acheive chemical castration and have to be that way for a while before I get my testicles cut off for good. I really do not seek transition but I seek the total loss and ability to get erections. So thankyou, and I will keep on going. prncalexe

Androcur The drug of choice

I have been taking Androcur for just short of a year. The most I ever took was 200 mg per day, 100 in the AM and again at night. You should see results in just over a week. You will notice loss of erections first, then sex drive over time. You will also experience night sweats, hot flashes, sore nipples in the first three months or so. All in all I really like the effect, I checked with my doctor and he did the blood tests for everything and you should also. He checked liver and Testosterone count. Mine is 35. = Eunuch.

Be careful, make sure you have a doctor monitoring your activities. Dr Kimmel is a good choice for castration at $2000. He will be doing mine Sept 6th.

I take 200mgs of androcur and i can get an erection if i play with myself. i mean it may not be good for much but it still responds. i dont get hot flashes chills or sweats. Dont know why i just dont. I read that it can take a while for the blood levels to get large enough to work for some of us. jeff

I would like to add a few comments here. It seems you may have a bit of confusion as to what castration, be it physical or chemical, can do for you. Yes, a EUNUCH can have erections if physicaly stimulated. What does decrease is the labido and the spontaneous and nocturnal erections. I had a high labido also, and have been on HRT for over a year and the desire fell off to nothing, but the curiosity has gotten the better of me and I am still able to have an erection, although not as firm as before. The first time I knew the HRT was working, was when I would wake up without that "morning woody", from then on I have enjoyed the "eunuch calm" so many have talked about here. Have you read some of Andrew's postings, he has some links to Sherry Joane's website: The effects of Castration. It is very informative reading.

As far as hot flashes, chills and night sweats, you may or may not have them. I do not get them, and if I have, they go unoticed. This is another, and I quote from Andrew again, "Your Milage May Vary" thing. Some get them, some do not. I hope this has cleared up some of the confusion as to what castration will do for you.
