The final chapter???

Two weeks ago, I had my third surgery. This one was under emergency conditions, as the swelling (hematoma) and infection (abscess) was out of control and extremely painful. I had the surgery in the evening, the doc split open my scrotum and removed a hematoma the size of a pear and all the accompanying infection. I was left with a open cut from the base of my penis, 3 inches into my pubic area. The doc packed the cavity with gauze, and said the wound needs to heal from the inside out. Thus, I have my incision packed three times a day with wet gauze. The swelling is nearly gone, the hole is filling in, taking less packing, but I guess I'll have this opening for another 3 weeks at the rate things are going. At least now, I am with little or no pain. Before the last surgery, it was unbearable.

My right testie has appeared to have gone dormant, and has shrunken to one-half it's original size, and pulled back into the inguinal canal. My T level dropped to way below normal. I am receiving T injections every two weeks, at my request, and when the incision heals, I will get a T implant that should last several months. This has been a real tough journey, but in a few weeks, it all may be over. I'd say I'm almost fully cured of my cancer and my testes.
