Why is cannibalism not accepted?

Post by kwanmingmin (imported) »

I have a brief idea about writing a story about a religious castration which requires the eating of the eunuch's body. But I notice that contents of cannibalism is not accepted by EA. May I know why? Does it violate any law in some countries?

I would be grateful if anyone would kindly respond.

No. It's our decision not to allow such stories. We also don't allow snuff stories. Castration of some sort has to be the premise of the stories posted here.

To help clear this point for potential authors, do you mean those two subjects are completely forbidden from mention or can they be *part* of the story so long as castration is the main topic?

I would think the difference would be the emphasis is on the castration. In the example above, are they eating the eunuchs body (anything not part of the genitals), or is the story going to be written such that eating the testicles is analogous to "eating the body of christ" and the body of christ is a cracker (or in this case testicle)?

While I wouldn't write stories like that, I can see where a widespread prohibition of even mentioning the topics might hinder the story that some authors wish to write. I can see a prohibition on a cannibalism or snuff story where those topics are the focus, but prohibiting a story where those topics are included but are not the main focus seems overreaching.

Eating of genitals, while not encouraged, may be permitted, but the theme of the story should be castration. People can die, but Paolo does not want to see any minor killed in a story. Adults can die under the right circumstances, but again, the story needs to be about castration, and it's up to the story moderators to decide whether it's a snuff story or a castration story.

A story which includes eating shit or drinking piss probably won't make it past either of us. I tend to be more tolerant of gore and violence than is Paolo, but an excess of either probably won't make it past either of us.

Along with smoking and fried foods, cannibalism is very unhealtyhy. Even the cannibals in south america have figured out that "kuru" (prion diseas) is not a good way to die. Plus, if you eat the wrong eunuch, it could be very high in TRANS FATS! ;-)

I think that if you do not eat the brain or spinal cord, it is not that dangerous. It is probably better to not eat the brain or spinal cord of any mammal except possibly pigs. I have read that pigs do not get prion diseases even if they are fed large quantities of food with prions.

I've read that that's only because they're almost always slaughtered before they have a chance to develop prion diseases. Like it takes 10 years to develop, but the pig is killed when he's only very young.

(I think I also read that male pigs are castrated in order to make them taste better.)
