Gandhi was gay!

Joseph Lelyveld, former senior editor at the NY Times and a renowned intellectual, just published a biography of Gandhi. It seems the great love of Gandhi's life was a German-Jewish bodybuilder named Hermann Kallenbach.

In a letter to Kallenbach, Gandhi wrote "Your portrait (the only one) stands on my mantelpiece in my bedroom. The mantelpiece is opposite to the bed."

The book has already been banned in one Indian state, and may soon be banned in all of India.

Gandhi was considered a saint because he never married or had any sexual relations with women. When old, he often slept with one or two young women without having any sexual contact. This puts his sainthood in a new light.
