Just had my penis "de-sleeved" during operation

I just got home from a urological operation to remove a number of body modificaiton implants in my penis. When I was younger, I had put 15 teflon beads into the foreskin, which actually was really cool (looked pretty gnarly and had lots of comments from women); however, generally they hurt the women when having sex, so I figured it was time to get them out. However, I went to a body mod artist to get them removed, but she found that scar tissue had formed around them and it wouldn't be easy for her. So I went to my urologist. So he took them out today.

But the technique he used is called "de-sleeving", meaning he cut around the top of the foreskin and literally skinned the whole penis, removed the scar tissues and plaques (plus the body jewelery itself), the pulled the skin back up and sewed it back.

So basically my penis was skinned today. The other fun thing was that his nurse was a young Korean woman (and I have a thing for Asians, and am in fact married to a Korean woman). Most of the nurses in the hospital were the regular sort of older, overweight type (friendly and professional though), but I was happily surprised with the OR nurse. This was at El Camino hospital in Los Gatos CA.

Right now, only five hours after the surgery I feel good, no pain and such, but probably that will set in later. Although really, with most of my genital mods it hasn't been too big a deal in healing. I previously had my (partially) split dick re connected and I healed well from that.

Now, I'm back to a fairly pristine penis -- no more gnarly body mods to make the girls go "wow". Guess I'll have to try to learn to be more impressive with my normal penis now!

Thanks for all the well-wishes and private messages. To answer a question I got in a lot of private message, yes I have recently moved to California South Bay area (so I've updated my profile). My wife and kids are still in Vancouver awaiting US immigration (I'm US citizen but they are Canadian and so need to go through the immigration which will probably take several more months).

Yeah, it is an interesting journey. My desire for self-harming my genitals started really young (age 9) and I think it was a response to my oversexuality (straight). I was just so horny even then that I was totally distracted by thoughts of trying to see my teachers and classmates naked, but had no legitimate outlet (didn't really know about masturbation and no chance at that age for actual hookup).

So I've struggled with this all my life -- being oversexed, sex addict, etc. and cycling with serious attempts at castration (first tried to cut off my penis at age 11 with a carving knife). In adult life I got into serious S&M mostly with pro dommes.

As I've worked through my issues with psychiatrists and mostly my own self-introspection, I realize that I love being male and sexual but need to channel it into more positive outlets. So with sex I'm trying to be less into the S&M.

With my self-harm I also have been trying to channel it into better outlets. At first that actually meant body mods, because instead of harming I was turning it into a more positive thing, with some artistic merit, and generally getting more acquainted with my self-image of my genitals and sexuality.

Now I think I've progressed to the next stage where maybe I can mainstream my sexuality a bit. I've donated all my torture equipment to a local dominatrix and a local submissive. So I no longer have my woodworking clamps, cattle prods, sheep ejaculator (that is a real trip if you've never tried one of those), and my accupuncture needles.

Now, I'm trying to get my genitals back into a somewhat pristine condition. So I'm getting all the scars and jewelery corrected/removed. Next I am going to try to get the nerves to my testicles removed because I have chronic pain due to injury (injection of various crap, plus lots of crushing).

One other thing is that my wife had a number of years where she wasn't much into sex, mainly because she was overweight and also busy raising young kids. That had greatly added to my sexual frustration and had me seeking dangerous outlets. However, my younger kid started kindergarten last year and my wife had time to exercise and she lost 60lbs! Now she has become really sexual (she's also mid-30s so that seems to be a time when women go through a bit of a sexual revival).

So I'm looking forward to really normalizing my sexuality and exploring it more healthily. I don't regret my journey but it was a tough one. I hope everyone else here can really get to the root of their desires for castration. I would say that except for transsexual desires, that desire for castration is really a type of self-harm and it is worth understanding where that is coming from and solving that root problem.

So far the only pain I've had (only been 24 hours) from the surgery is that I guess they used a catheter during the surgery so when I went to go pee there was a bit of internal urethral pain (minor though).

I think the urologist was really good (Dr. Noller). I don't seem to have much bruising, no pain, and particularly I like the way he bandaged me. If you've ever had your penis bandaged you'll know it is very difficult to bandage it so that it stays on while flaccid but doesn't get constricted when erect. Also, so that it doesn't get urine soaked into it.

I'll see about posting some pictures today. The bandages can come off tomorrow, then I'll really see how things are.

Just before I reached this part of your story, I said to myself, "Boy, he's had a rough journey". I hope that you heal quickly and I wish you all the best with your new you.

I link and was able to see your photos on fliker. They look very good. I followed your Belgrade link and was able to see other photos including (I suspect MtoF conversion photos). I have seen the 'degloving ' at http://www.iclinics.org by selecting the categories and then penis. Watched an 18 min male to female conversion also.

Just took the bandages off this morning. Still no pain at all which is good, and bruising isn't bad, but pretty swollen and sad looking this morning.

It looks like he also had to go in from the front (near the base) to remove some of the implants, so in addition to the stitching around the head you can see there is stitching at the base -- hopefully that doesn't scar too badly.

The stitching around the head is hard to see all the way round because the foreskin is swollen, but there is one pick where I gingerly pulled it back. Sure enough, stitched all way around! My penis was de-sleeved!
