Chocolate Lovers!

I have heard or read somewhere that chocolate is a vegetable. So, in keeping with eating enough vegetables daily, fill up on chocolate as a veggie and as your dessert for the day.

Oh, don't ask where i saw that...I just thought it was funny and have remembered the veggie part.

It is a veggie but then you add lots of sugar, another veggie and well then you have CANDY which is not a Veggie.

Go figure, however I do like it best in the refined form :)

This time of year I especially like the Passover candies.

Expensive but, the dark chocolate is excellent.

Dark chocolate covered matzo taste better then you might imagine.

And the marshmallow is a heavy recipe.

The Easter chocolate is kind of waxy. And non chocolate peeps are available every holiday now in different sculpted forms. Aahhh, a three day old stale peep that has a little crustiness. Sorry, peeps are not chocolate and off topic.

Like I can resist.

PEEPS talk to me from the box. They whisper in my sleep. The banter in the store -- Dave, they say, you want us, you need us, we're all alone in this box please take us home and eat us. And then I buy them, take them home, pet them, stroke them, rip open the boxes like a savage and eat them.

yummy...

better than pure lust -- sugar love.

Never could stand the damned things. Give me a good chocolate rabbit, especially from my nasty brother's stash.

I never thought that raisins were that good a match with chocolate.

Chocolate goes much better with dried cherries, apricots, strawberries or bananas.(making myself hungry) Sometime buy an assortment of dried fruit, melt a couple of dark chocolate bars or some chips & dip the fruit in like a fondue. They make chocolate fountains for doing that at a party.
