There is a story on page A4 of today's Wall Street Journal titled 'Physical Changes in Bonds Detailed by Two Witnesses.'
One witness is a former girl friend who dated him from 1994 to 2003 (he married in 1998). She said that the 'size of his testicles were smaller and an unusual, different shape' after he supposedly started using steroids. His temper also grew worse.
Bond's lawyer, Cristian Arguedas, reportedly did not spend much time on testicle testimony.

Re: Barry Bonds steroid testimony
Baseball being, baseball
should "black out" his name from all official archives of rosters and numbers as to make it more difficult to rehabilitate his memory two decades from now.

Re: Barry Bonds steroid testimony
I find that a little hard to accept, even though steroids are wrong and these players knew this it was not in the rule books of baseball, it was something they knew but did not want to do anything about, don't blame the players for something the owners said was ok.
BUT Berry Bonds is not in court for using steroids, but for lying to a grand jury which is something all together different.
I don't like baseball, never watch it. However I also remember the strike year and the year after when nobody went to the games anywhere in the country, until two players, Sosa and McGuire started hitting home runs and everywhere they went the stands were full. by the end of the year baseball was back. Yes they both took steroids and most likely neither will ever get in the hall of fame, but they saved your game of baseball.
Talk about double standards.
Pete Rose was different, he gambled on baseball, which was in the rule book going back to 1919 and the world series. Pete has never admitted he did anything wrong and that is why he will never be forgiven.
Don't confuse one with the other.
