Hi guys, I'v been pm'ed by a member on EA to stop talking about my religion (while others can). I was making comments on a tread relevant to my views regarding Japan's troubles and Armageddon.
He said to me: "...This site is the eunuch archive not the new christian order, keep your religion to yourself..."
I was under the impression the this category on the Archive deals with "Opinions, Advice & Laughs" . I would think that my view points should be tolerated in this category... or not?
Why is Christianity so feared to discuss while other religious viewpoints can freely be discussed, even Scientology.
Or are my friends on this board only capable to talk about dicks and nuts?
Religious persecution

Re: Religious persecution
Odd, I am a recovering "Christian," and yet I still LIKE to read the Christian bible... But I hate "bible thumpers."
I think you will find that the majority of people who are regulars at this website are NOT Christian, and many of them are very bitter about past experiences they have had with Christians, I know I still harbor some extreme hatred for what they have done to me.
If you want to be Christian then fine, be Christian, I won't in any way stand between you and what you think God wants you to do, but please don't ever proseletize here.

That's my point, I did not proseletize. I merely answered people's questions; my opinion.
If someone link an event say to Buddha and I link it to Christianity, why am I wrong but not the other guy. Why is there such enmity towards Christianity? It's almost like a swear word.

Re: Religious persecution
YodaNell do not get upset but pray for your neighbor and yes it is a fact most in here are not Christians so you will catch flack when you are really caring for them.I have been on this sight for almost ten years now and I respect others view points and they have let me have mine as I understand all are not called or will ever understand. So get on your knees and pray for these wonderful people on this sight and show them the love a Christian should but only preach if they ask.Way to many folks in here have bad experiences with religion I know I did to before I left the Lutheran church that never seamed to really understand what Christians should be doing. So hang in there and pray

Thanks sag111, this was my whole intention. I DO respect other's view points. Goodness, I just had a penectomy for religious reason that I'm sure main stream Christianity will judge. I just want to talk and share MY view points and opinions just like every one else. Just as I respect other's view points, so should mine be respected. Or must I just talk about penises and shut up about the rest?

I can only speak for myself but this site is the Eunuch Archive so it does have a lot to do about "dicks and nuts". I came here to learn about my new life as a eunuch. I do not come here for religion or to be inundated with religious opinions.
I am not sure who PM'd you but if they were the original poster and they preferred not to go where you were going with the posts I could understand the reason for the message.
As a new member we do not really know you yet. In time we may know you from your posts but having a saint as an avatar and preaching I find off putting. Again the opinion of one.
Re: Religious persecution
Proselytizing is not acceptable here. Believe as you wish, just don't preach it here.
