Generally I do not comment about the function of MBM here as this is not MBM, but since it is being mentioned I'll provide a clarification. We are just two guys running a MODERATED site. I uploaded some updated pictures of my reroute and current penis condition on MBM. My penis has shrunk to less than 1/4 of it's previous self. I was only average size, a little under 6 inches erect, now erections are a thing of the past and my penis is about an 1 1/2 inches unless I stretch it. If I stretch it, it becomes a thin ribbon of flesh. Worthless.

Certainly it has to do with my low, low testosterone levels, about 90-120 ml's these days compared to most intact males which range from 300-1000 on average. I'm just a little over real castrate levels, which are about 30-60 mls. Abuse also has decreased my penile size, I'm sure. My penis girth is so small at times that it's only a little larger than a penny in diameter and if I squeeze it, it's about as flat as a penny.

Yeah Ok Hash...I can see that you American guys are just as mortified going to the ER as a prostitute going to church. Fortunately our hospital staff here are much more friendly and understanding. SRS operations are quite common here so that that AND our gay rights etc, created a much more open minded community...largely.

Me??...hell I wish the darn pain can end now. It gets progressively better as the days go by, but presently, as I stand on my feet (or sit on a chair) it feels that I'm going to go into child birth. I'm scared that the pressure of my body on the stitches will cause them to rip open. I'm taking morphine-like capsules, but they are not as potent as real morphine. Very minor bleeding still. Urinating is getting better.

Hash, I got rid of my stump to totally rid myself of physical sexual stimuli. This morning I rubbed some Emla cream on my left nipple to ascertain whether it will go numb enough to cut off. The rubbing alone almost brought me to orgasm...I mean, I felt the most amazing sensation between my legs! The sensation felt as if it came from my removed stump, only, it's not there anymore. When I stopped rubbing my nipple, the pulsing sensation just kept on going for another minute or so. Somewhere around my anus I felt an erection...probably the very last bit of my penis and that erection caused severe pain. I think there must be sutures at the end of it where they decided the stump must be cut off.

So......might I be able to orgasm now by just mind stimulation. I don't know, but after the pain is gone and I'm healed, I'm going to find out. Presently, it would appear that nullification to rid oneself of sexual stimulated input is a waist of effort for if I can still be brought to orgasm after I'm healed (and nipples removed) I could just as well have kept my genitals.

A six hour banded penis that survived, wow splitdick. Did you use an ealastrator band(s)? I would have thought that after that length of time your penis would have died, but as Yoda said, the penis is tough.

First of all, after a lifetime of seriously abusing my genitals, I have to believe we were designed/evolved specifically to withstand such damage.

Yes, I used elastrator bands. I often band up to two hours with only numbness being a lasting effect and no obvious permanent damage. This one time I went six hours it was quite different -- basically a hard ring formed inside (under the skin) around the shaft. I think it was called a lymphedema -- basically a build up of lymph fluid that the body sends to a damaged location. It was present for quite a while, so not just a bruise or standard swelling. It was quite hard and in exact location of the band. Secondly, different than normal banding when feeling finally returned a couple weeks later it was incredibly painful. Like so painful I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital to get an anesthetic injection.

So it was definitely on the verge of permanent damage I think, but also it was tough and at this point seems to generally have recovered.

One thing to think about -- the penis flesh is designed to go long periods with little blood flow. When flaccid, it really doesn't get much blood or oxygen. We're designed to get nocturnal erections for exactly that reason -- it really needs to get strong blood flow/pressure once per day. And of course guys with erectile difficulty don't even get that -- although it is well documented that lack of erections will cause atrophy of the internal structures. Anyway, I'm saying that penis can take extended periods (days) of low blood flow and I think that translates to at least 12 hours of fully restricted blood flow.

Note further though, that while the penis shaft is resilient the penis skin does require normal blood flow. So a danger with banding is that you lose all the skin but internal shaft isn't damaged. In fact many guys who get their dick stuck in a ring or such end up with their penis being skinned but otherwise working.

This is also true. After two days of banding by penis, it still looked pink. I actually thought that I was unsuccessful at strangling my penis to death. I do not know exactly how long it takes for the penis to die but 24 hours should do it. I gave it an extra day just to make sure.

I was afraid that this might have happened in my case. The doc said they are going to explore my penis in the OR (debridinig) and give me a skin graft...which I refused. Fortunately I had the band on for a lot longer so my TOUGH internals also died!. I'm glad I did that otherwise I would have gotten a penis with a new skin. "If it's worth doing...it's worth overdoing."

I'm beginning to feel better. Still some pain...mostly when I sit in a car or chair.

I have had a phantom stump until yesterday. It felt weird...exciting and scary. It actually felt that my stump was still present. I could feel it twitch with excitement when I touch my nipples. That twitching actually caused physical pain on my sutures! Can you believe that. But when I try to touch the stump...it's not there! Weird feeling. I do believe that that phantom could bring me to orgasm, and it almost did, but it started to hurt too much on my operated field. Now the phantom is gone and I feel kind of sad about it, because I wanted to explore this new sensation after I healed up a bit. I think my brain re-wired itself...if that is possible within 10 days. It does, however, feel fantastic to reach 'down there' and everything is gone...no penis...I love that feeling! It would be nice to orgasm once a while...but if it's not to be, it really will not bother me. There are a million other amazing sensations in that area which a person with genitals will never experience. I love being a nullo.
