I was born in Groote Schuur, lived in Claremont which is, as you will know, a pleasant suburb of Kapstaad. I was in the BSAP doing poacher control out of Pietersburg onto the Limpopo. I recall your writing that you'd been accepted into the service prior to your penectomy but as you may imagine my surprize at reading that a naval officer knew of this and said it wouldn't matter. Sir, I know a bit about the Republic and the military services there and, it's my opinion, that it would have mattered. If I'm incorrect, I'll be happy to stand corrected but as a former citizen it just raised my curiosity. As I'm sure you will know, the U.S. Navy would not permit this-I researched that.

Agreed...a lot of my male aggressiveness mellowed out after castration as well. In the past, being straight (not gay), I (and maybe most men), will not even touch another man lest he be labeled gay as well. But after castration, I began to notice how beautiful God created a man as well. Men are wonderful creatures totally unique from woman.

Although I have no desire to be feminine, my softer side did surface a bit more, and I truly like the fact that I'm a nullo. I hated the sexual buildup that occurred on a daily basis, having no control over it and, like a slave, toss off to get relief from it. All day long it consumes one's mind, interfering with one's work. It SUCKS! The desire (being on low dose T) for sexual relief is far less now and I have more time concentrating on things that matter.

Somewhere on this forum someone said that every male should be nullified after having had kids. I largely agree with this. So many social problems caused by uncontrollable sexual immorality will be solved. Imagine God created a man with genitals that drops off like a lizard's tail after procreation. That would be cool.

Anyway, I hope that you experience your desire to be nullified soon. If you still enjoy masturbation, one can understand the need to wait for the right time, but if one's penis is like a vestigial organ hanging without purpose, I would remove it. The right time will come as soon as YOU are ready for it. I can tell you that one experience sexual sensations in a total different way which is in many way far more pleasurable, maybe because the little stump inside assist in those feelings. I guess removing the whole penis (including roots) might greatly diminish sexual sensation. I guess you'll have to decide to keep a stump or not.

I had a feeling you were once from this part of the pond at some time. Like I said, I don't mean to be rude, but consider this:

1) I don't know you

2) We are not friends (yet)

3) I haven't seen any of your posts yet so I have not built any opinion of you in my mind yet.

4) A first introduction like that post of yours to me is off putting.

5) You do not have adequate security clearance to discuss confidential matters regarding my job in the military.

One does not introduce oneself and then ask so many personal questions in such an arrogant way. I don't even talk to most of my friends and family about my nullification, not that I'm embarrassed by it, but because it's personal between God and myself. Jesus said to his followers that it's given only to some and not many can accept this. This IS for me and I only discuss this highly personal thing to friends I trust...and here on this forum because we share a common interest.

Since 1994, our government changed in many ways, for the good, but also for the bad. One can now be employed in the military as two married gay men receiving all the benefits associated with the job. Any job discriminating against this can be taken to court as the law provides for this. I have done many medical checkups. One has to fill in forms mentioning any surgeries in the past. Withholding information can lead to serious consequences. No-one even raised a brow about my surgeries.

Besides, why must one have genitals to work in the military. We don't use our dicks to steer a ship, or to fire weapons, to march on a parade or to work in a logistics store. One does, however, require balls to fight a battle, but virtual balls will do.

Regarding blessings, I hope God did not notice your words above and withhold your blessing to breath, to swallow, to think clearly, to see, to feel, to keep you from getting diabetes, cancer, aids, HIV, hepatitis, deafness, blindness and all other kind of afflictions that can hit the body. Never mind keeping you safe on the road, feeding your stomach, living under a roof, driving a car...and so I can carry on. Count your blessings because there are many! Even having an erection have been a huge blessing to all men since the beginning of our existence. He gives you all these blessings so that, while you may not love and believe in Him, you can at least thank and honor Him. No-one lives forever on this planet.

Forgive me if I came across a bit hard. Here in South Africa I see all kinds of poverty, hunger and many kinds of needs. Our hope in God and His blessings can be a great comfort during such lowly conditions.

Anyway, If you and I share a common interest regarding the theme of this forum, let's talk shop shall we....

Of course you don't know me and I don't know you. Your condescending tone is laughable. Really, I don't care if you choose to answer or not. The questions I posed were in direct response to comments you'd made. I wasn't probing for any further information although based on the length of your answer you apparently felt under attack. I can at times still feel my penis. Sometimes it itches but I have nowhere to scratch. I believe that these phantoms will disappear after a few weeks; until my brain re-maps itself.

Hi mccrale, I think I expressed myself incorrectly in my quote above. I never felt a phantom penis. I felt a phantom little annoying itch somewhere in the air (about 2cm) in front of my groin. The itch was like a little pin prick and doesn't matter how I try to locate the source, I could not scratch it. It was not present the whole time but it would come and then go away. By the time my deep stiches inside urethra and stump dissolved, so that little itch disappeared. I guess that one of those stitches caused the itch 'Phantom' and my brain sensed the itch outside my body as part of the nerves that served my penis is still present on my stump. Don't know if I'm making any sense. But, I never felt a phantom penis.
