UPDATE:

Hi, I met with the plastic Surgeon this afternoon and he said there is nothing he can do for me at the moment. I have to wait 6 weeks for the healing to take place. Then he will cosmetically clean my groin area (make it smooth) and relocate my pee hole another few cm downward. Hey man... 6 weeks of peeing in the shower waiting for me.

I'll probably go home now.

Consider post traumatic swelling in a very vascular area. There is hope tissues will settle down and you will be content with the results.

Suggest 6 months for evaluation of the new, well healed look.

G'luck. Maybe in the future you will decide to share your images.

Hi, I'm not going home today. They removed the bandages and catheter but when I went for a shower I almost fell to the floor in horror. There are pieces of skin hanging from my groin area. The pee hole is sunken 1-2 cm into my skin (like a belly button). When I pee, there is no straight stream but it washes against my groin! ................

Do those pieces of skin surround the pee hole like labia? Does the urine direct downward when you sit?

It look more like a BIG belly button on a fat person. It is positioned at the place were my penis exited my body. Underneath this hole is a triangular like little flap of skin.

The hole is going to have to be relocated because I pee over the toilet seat.

I hope the other guy is right in that things will look better after all the swelling.

Your surgeon did a poor job. He should have rerouted your urethra lower like a woman's urethra so that it would work properly when you sit. What was he thinking?

I agree. Thee plastic surgeon, however, has done hundreds of MTF operations, so he is going to take over and clean the mess.

They say it's good for athletes foot :) If worst comes to worst, I suppose you could fashion a makeshift device to route the urine down, or maybe lean forward on the toilet in a pinch. I suppose congrats on your goal, but I don't think I'd be able to do what you did :)

In the mean time you will need the "she wee". Have to use it backwards to be able to pee sitting (instead of forwards for women to pee standing. http://www.shewee.ca/

Hi guys, goodness I'm still in hospital. The docs can't decide what to do. The Plastic surgeon wants 6 weeks for me to heal first. My Uro wants it done now (as do I, because I've been accepted to join the Navy on the 1st of April), so sit merrily in my hospital room while those boys tug at each other. Just had a lovely breakfast of savory mince, scrambled eggs, fried tomato, yogurt, 2 sliced of toast and coffee.

Well talk again...

It will be better if you get the reroute before leaving the hospital. The urologist should have never left you that way.

I doubt that you will be able to join the Navy as scheduled. A man without a penis will have a hard time fitting in and will probably be rejected during the induction physical.

You will also probably be rejected if you re-apply as a woman.

You can't meet the basic physical requirements either way.
