Mama's Green Bug Juice for health

Wifey has begun making daily more or less the following recipes for us to drink. I kid her about them being the greenie bug and gut juice. Nevertheless, everyone just feels better after drinking them for a few days, so I thought I would pass them on. I don't think she read these somewhere, she just put together stuff that is good for you. I think it is a bit of experimenting around, so feel free to add other stuff. Yet the fact remains, we both have felt better (as in a 'cleaner' body feeling) after a few days.

Green Bug Juice Drink- one glass twice a day

This is thick, so do it in steps.

Liquidise two tomatoes with ½ cup fresh orange juice (natural). Then mix in sequentially and liquidize a handful of spinach, ½ handful of broccoli, 2 celery stalks and a spoonful of flaxseed.

As you are adding things, if it gets too thick, add more orange juice.

Light Green Gut Juice – glass in morning and glass at night

Extract the juice from about ¼ pineapple. Liquidise with ¼ handful of watercress and 1 stick of celery.

You are taking nutrition meant to digest over yards and yards of intestine and converting it to absorption within the first twelve inches.

Oh the horror your liver and kidneys must deal with.

Juice bad.

Chewing intact foods good.

It is not just about the chemistry but also the velocity of absorption.

Oh the horror! No more glasses of V8 juice?

I would think that when you drink of glass of something with a meal, it would not be an issue. But maybe not.

DAMN! I just hate it when people ask questions like this! My clear and perfect understanding of the universe is disturbed by this "logic" and "reason" stuff you all talk about.

All anyone needs to know is simply this: "I think, therefore I am the center of the universe and my understanding is perfect and complete."

Ask any insulin using diabetic who takes good care of themselves, they understand.

Ask anyone who follows Atkins or Paleolithic style Diets. Absorbing calories more slowly reduces calorie demand later. The difference between 200 calories of eggs and bacon and 200 calories of "flakes" and non fat milk. Get it?

Absorbing nutrients too quickly results in excretion rather then utilization, such as Vitamin C.

Ever notice the people who spend lots of money on juicers because they think they may be nutritionally deficient in this or that are FAT, OBESE, 🍰 people. I have! ;)

The problem with drinking juice with your "real food" is that you should be drinking water. Not all liquids are water and a healthy body requires enough water to pee clear. Sure one has the ability to make dark orangy urine and that leads to problems such as stones, respiratory, digestive, dental, etc.

Most mammals have pretty good kidneys and humankind are unique in having really poor kidneys that require lots of flushing with fresh water. That along with a hairless body and subQ fat layer lend credibility that earliest mankind developed as a water loving ape like creature. No other primates can swim. Dog, cats, rats, etc. can all swim but not monkeys and apes.

It is not how much water one drinks but, keeping the urine clear as represents good hydration.

Remember, calories you should absorb over some twenty feet of gut over time do not serve you well absorbed over inches of gut within thirty minutes.
