Hi everyone!
What is the consensus for killing the libido and or limited erections, Depo Provera or Androcur? Both? Something Different?
Anyway to stop the feminizing effects?
I read everything in the forum and everyone has an opinion and it seems none of them match.
I don't want to grow breasts, I just want to eliminate/heavily reduce sex drive and limit erections/sexual function temporarily until a final decision can be made to castrate.
Thanks!
Consensus?

Why not start with DP to see how it works for you? If you're not satified with it, then switch to Androcur. I also took Tamoxifen to reduce breast growth. It seemed to work for me. You probably will need at least a year, or more, for a full test drive.

Re: Consensus?
Having had good success with Androcur, I'd be tempted to recommend the opposite, start with Androcur. That you can cut back or stop relatively quickly if you don't like the effects from the start. If you feel reasonably good about the effects, then consider DP to reduce the load on your liver.
I would strongly recommend against taking both. The effects are the same. You're just putting huge workloads on your liver and body.
To avoid feminization, I took Tamoxifen too and it helps.
While everyone's mileage is different, the general message that I can find suggest that on average there would be castration effects will start to become ireversable after about 6 months.

Re: Consensus?
Androcur (Siterone) worked for me!
Also, take note of hkeunuch's last point and other posts in here. In some cases, the effects of chemical castration do not go away when you stop, it depends very much on the person and how long you have been taking the medication.

Re: Consensus?
Get a complete testosterone lab test first as a baseline.
Just use one medication at a time.
I took 50mg of Siterone twice a day.
Allow 90 days, then re-do lab testosterone lab test and to do it right also monitor liver function with appropriate tests.
If you are embarking on sexual reassignment, these tests are routine; if you are merely a male who wants to lower testosterone level and sexual activity, getting MD to authorize tests will most likely get more complicated as your sanity may come into question, especially if your MD is male - might have better luck with a female MD, hard to say.
Results will depend upon many factors.
Your age, general health, what you eat, exercise routine, T level at the start, levels of other hormones in your body and how they are interacting with each other.
I have no experience with taxomifen. I had nipple sensitivity, but no breast growth. Others would have to provide comments on that.
And with the decline in testosterone you will most likely experience a variety of mental, emotional, and physical side effects. The degree of these experiences can range from mild to wild, in one, two or all three categories.
Long term use of Androcur, Siterone, can have negative impact on liver function, which is why I experimented with these at first, liked the results, and then was internally drive to seek non-drug permanent solutions.
These drugs are tiny, but very powerful. Changes in hormonal balance can have unexpected and unpleasant or dangerous consequences. Just remember to not base your actions on the input of others. Your decisions and actions must be based upon the firm knowledge that regardless of what other people have done, regardless of the commonality of agreement or input, you must decide, you must take responsibility if anything goes wrong.
