How to Pacify a CAT

Post by Riverwind (imported) »

Every night my cat Rupert sleeps at the foot of my bed, then at dawn he climbs up on top of me and pesters me until I get up and give him treats.

Last night he did not do that, I found him in the bathroom with the door closed and when I opened it, I herd all about it, it was not friendly, no, he was pissed. I pet him and told him what a good boy he was but he was having none of it, still telling me about the abuse he had to endure. I gave him some of his favorite treats, when seemed to make him happy again. Wrong, after eating the treats he came to me and used my leg as a cat scratching post just to let me know not to ever do that again.

Word of advice, never piss off your master/Cat or leave him locked in the bathroom all night.

I've been shutting my black and white cat in the closet from midnight till morning because she's in heat and I don't desire to hear her moan all night.

If I had the money and the transportation, I'd get her fixed. Till then, UGH.

Remember, the cat is not your pet, you are his staff.

Then I demand salary. And not in cat food :).

PS. It is impossible to pacify the cat. When my cat goes on a warpath, the only solution is to wear long pants, big slippers and just wait.

Cats are like women. They are only happy if you give them EVERYTHING they want.

Don't you think that's kind of cruel?

That depends on how much sound is blocked out by keeping her in the closet. Also how close the closet is to the bedroom, if its on the other side of the house then its no problem at all.
