True. But if I could obtain a surgically sound inguinal castration, I would make all kinds of adjustments and sacrifices to get the surgery done. Flying to and from destination for me would be worse than the after effects of the surgery. I would of course insist that the entire procedure was documented on video. When you loose your manhood there should be some documentation of the blessed event. This of course would probably only happen in a private scenario, not a medical scenario. Given how particular I am about the before, during and after of the surgery having a medical surgery would be a last ditch plan; having an elective private surgery would be preferred. It's a goal, not a fantasy.

Re: Lap Orchiectomy
this would definitely be how I would want mine removed, via inguinal. Get as much of the cord material out of there.

Re: Lap Orchiectomy
Ok guys, seems like you all must like pain, and relatively major scarring. Mine were removed thru the scrotum, even though they had not resided inside it for many years. My urologist felt that she could do just fine that way, and then we could use local anesthetic rather than a general. She simply pulled them as far as they would stretch to remove as much cord as possible. Today two plus years later, I can not find the cords at all, even rubbing around the abdomen.
I have had great success with pain relief, and there is virtually no scar at all.
BTW, since it was done as a cure for pain, mine were removed one at a time.
