beauty parlor terms

Post by curious_guy (imported) »

I know that beauty parlors rent out spaces to hairdressers. What do they call that space? Is it a space, a workspace, a chair, or something else? I need to know for a story I am writing.

Maybe it varies around the country. Locally the salons post signs booth rentals available. Of course this does include the chair.

Looks like both are correct. My neighbor a cosmotologist calls it renting a booth.

Discover whether booth-rental is for you or your salon.

Stay out of "trouble" with IRS; like getting hit for other

stylists back taxes (because your booth rental operation

wasn't set up properly). Successful salon owners and

stylists nationwide use these proven booth-rental

techniques; Find out for yourself ...
