Outside right now, it's 25f. Inside, it's 76f. That's with my window open nearly 24/7, and I'm contemplating turning on the fan for a few minutes. I have my bedroom door closed, and my room is a good 10f warmer than the rest of the house.

On my bed, a thin sheet, and a thin comforter. That's all I ever have on it.

The reason for the warmth? Two LCD computer monitors, one TV, one lamp (CFL), and three desktop computers, plus myself. My room is a nightmare in the summer, but entirely self-heating in winter.

The temp in the house is set at 67 but the house was built in 1881 so ,it can get cold in here. I sleep (usually naked) under a cotton sheet a light blanket and sometimes a bedspread. As I have gotten older I sleep with socks on in winter and when it gets colder I sleep in a nightshirt. --FLO--

We had Christmas snow this year, but it's 50f outside this morning.

I keep the inside temp around 60f at night because I sweat easily. Daytime, I might turn it up to 65 or 70f, depending upon my desire to wear anything.

I use polyester fleece blankets and sheets, and the mini-mutt. Both are cuddly-soft.

I sweat easily at night, so I have keep the temp low, or change sheets often.

Fleece is very light weight, feels warm instantly, dries fast, and easy to clean (the mutt not so much).

Summertime it's cotton sheets only, if any, with all the windows open and fans blowing. I rarely use the AC.

It is currently 65f (been vacillating between the 30's and the 80's quite a bit this winter). I use cotton sheets with a light down comforter (Costco) and a cotton duvet cover. I keep the temp inside around 66-68. The cats sleep on top and under the comforter depending on what they feel like doing.

In the summer it is the same cotton sheets with a thick (Peacock Alley brand - the best and worth every cent) cotton blanket.

I keep a quilt over me all the time (in bed) since my wife likes a temp of around 65 in the bedroom. And withmme having to be on Thyroid med due to mine under performing, I have to stay warm somehow.

We used to like stoking up the Franklin stove with wood, close the bedroom door and sleep without covers in 90 - 100 degree (comfort?) Well, you DO understand that the humidity was low and we were a lot younger then...

I used to sleep naked and on top of the covers but a burglar walked in on me once and the court declared the sight of me to be cruel and unususal. --FLO--

It may have been cruel, but in our youth it was not all that unusual...
