Estratest hs
Anyone used Estratest hs? My doctor is thinking of prescribing it to me. I've been castrated and am on 2mg of oral estradiol daily. I basically want to have sex with someone now and it isn't quite working.
The one caveat is that I do not want to feel like a man, nor having any masculine characteristics emerge and definitely don't want any hair growth. Anyone have any experience with estratest?

Looking at some of the side effects and increase desire to have sex is not one of them. This drug has a testosterone type drug in it. Do a goggle search on the drug and you will find many other sites that list the effects. Not sure why the doctor would put you on this drug.
You did say why your are castrated.
Here is part of the effects.

Most hormones (male or female) would have some or all of these side effects, simply because for many people those effects are a natural result of a changing hormone balance. So keep in mind that "side effects" depend on who is taking the drug, and are impacted by their medical situation.
For a person who is already castrated and on low dose estrogen, I'd expect an increase in sex drive, not a decrease. The whole purpose of mixed hormone compounds like this is to balance certain effects of both male and female hormones.
As with everything, I think individual results vary widely... But I can see the doctor's logic here. Water retention is probably the only truly likely side effect to watch for, and even that would probably be minor with conservative doses.

I think its worth pointing out that testosterone is not just for "Male" folks. Women make testosterone as well and its important for many things which include sex drive. I've read that many TS m2f folks don't have much sex drive. I think this is due to them not trying to achieve a balance of hormones similar to what natal women have and lack of female levels of testosterone really do mix things up. *Trust me! Mrs T needs female levels of Testosterone (Post menopause)

Yeah, my doc basically said that I won't have a sex drive without T. I just don't want all the other stuff that comes with that.

That's what I'm looking for. An increase in sex drive, hopefully a better ability to have an erection. Just no hair growth, masculine features, etc. I just need to do some more research and then see if it's worth the risks.
