Re: aching
Sounds like the start of testicle atrophy. As they continue to shrivel up, the pain will worsen, and then fade away. If atrophy is really starting you may soon want to seek having them removed.

Re: aching
I started with depo provera injections ( the first last thursday) and i have also minor pain in the testes like beeing kicked two days ago.
it is in fact very good to bare, the did not shrink or anything. my toughts were also "stopping the whole process down under" is responsible for this pain.

Re: aching
During the 9 months or so I was taking Siterone I don't recall aching balls. They did shrink and get hard. I could not afford to take Siterone long enough for permanent results. After stopping the drug, and regaining my libido, I did experiment with an alternative method that was risky, initially painful, but ultimately achieved permanent reduction (below 100 ng/dl) in testosterone with no surgery or chemicals. Seems like all methods to reduce testosterone result in some level of cost, risk, and pain.

I'm on Depo and have been since September, and was on it on and off before then. No ball ache at all.

Re: aching
Thanks to all who got back. I still get ake's but they have lessened now. I just wish that they stoped working alltogether now as I dont want to keep taking this medication forever.

No kidding. That's why I discussed seeking orchiectomy with both my psychiatrist and psychotherapist recently. I don't want to take either spiro or cyproterone for the rest of my life, and I seriously don't need to, when a urologist could handle this for me.

The reason why almost every one in here recommends taking spiro or cyproterone type drugs is to get a test run on effects of castration. Good number of people that starting to get the full effects of castration realize that castration is not right for them. There is a high number of castrated guys that end up taking testosterone . The just can not handle the side effects.
In another words try it to see if you like it first. No life changing effects that way.

Re: aching
About a few months since starting Androcur, I did experience achy balls. The ache continued on and off throughout the 4 years I was on Androcur, and still continues nearly after a year after I stopped Androcur.
The balls atrophied a lot, but did not feel particularly harder than before. And they seemed to continue to atrophy even without any Androcur.
There is an area under the testicles where the vas deferens connects to the balls that have become very sensitive to touch. But over time, I have developed a liking to the pain.
