Father castrates daughter's boyfriend

A man in Germany castrated his daughter's boyfriend with a bread knife because he disapproved of the age difference in their relationship.

Helmut Seifert, 47, complained to the police when he found out that his 17-year-old daughter was going out with 57-year-old Phillip Genscher.

When the police told Seifert that there was nothing they could do because the relationship was legal, Seifert recruited two workmates and went to visit Genscher, where they forced him to remove his trousers before castrating him while he was fully conscious.

The severed testicles were taken away by Seifert, according to police.

Genscher lost a lot of blood due to the attack but survived and was able to call police for help, the newspaper said.

Seifert will now go on trial for attempted murder next year after pleading guilty, but remains defiant of his actions.

He told police that since they were not willing to break off the relationship, he had decided to take matters into his own hands, because it was 'his duty as a father' to do so.

Yikes, what an awful way to be castrated. Fully conscious, it's a wonder he didn't pass out. I can understand this father's anger, a 57 year old man dating a 17 year old kid? I'm sorry, 17 year old girls don't know what they're doing and this man might have been manipulating her. Did he deserve castration, no, a black eye, sure.

I'm guessing she had daddy issues and seeked an older man.. because daddy is a violent beast which this story proves. Duh. And what a complete narcissist too, always presuming that everybody else is only thinking with their dicks, just like himself =p

That could be close to truth, though we really don't know.

I have seen similar things. And such situations aren't too rare.

There was a similar story here where a 49yo pastor fell in love with 15yo schoolgirl. He abandoned everything he had, his wife, his children (grownups) his church, his home. Girl soon after got pregnant and now they should have 2 or 3 yo baby girl. There was a TV show about them when girl turned 18. Girl was accusing her mother for being violent against her and her foster mother for keeping her only because of money she got. Girl told to interviewer few very describing incidents with her fostermother. Her fostermother was just on denial just about everything, trying to display herself as most generous and self sacrifying woman.

Pastor got his dream love and Girl felt being cared and loved, accepted and both seemed to be happy. Seemingly they got what they missed most.

I think that violence (except self-defence) is often due to denial and guilt and shame.

Something inside the individual's head. And heart. Kind of a self-defence too, like this father was protecting his 'honor' etc.. So it could be called self-defence gone wickedly wacked.

Still.. I wonder how it feels like castrating my daughter's 'boyfriend' if he is even older than ME!
