Just for moi

Post by Riverwind (imported) »

Today it stopped snowing about 5pm, that was 24 hours of study snow, blowing wind, dropping temps. Here in beautiful Hudson Wisconsin we got (hard to actually tell because of the drifts of snow from the wind) about 18 inches or so.

It is so neat having snow on the ground this time of year, my next door neighbor was out with his snow blower and he let his dog, a golden lab out to play, I watched the dog for quite a while running jumping in to big drifts of snow, rolling in it, sticking her nose in the snow, just having a wonderful time. I let my little dog out and she went to run into the yard and was up to her ears in snow, she backed out of it and back into the house, she was not impressed, my cat, well Rupert said he wanted to go out, but after he looked he decided it was better to take a long nap in the laundry basket.

Me, I love the snow, it brightens my day and puts me in a great mood, its so fresh and clean.

Thinking of you Moi, living where it never gets below 50.

BORING

Big 🙏

Thinking of You too so look at the time of the Blizzard thread upload :)

After I left Milwaukee I use to visit friends for a week around Christmas to visit the snow.

It has it's beauty but, I found staying hydrated a problem. Had to work on that water drinking.

When I lived there, after a few months I would just feel so achy from the cold I knew I had to return to Paradise.

Thanks for sharing.

Best Wishes.
