Testosterone enanthate

Post by Wellesley (imported) »

Anyone else using it as an shot in the gluteus?

Finally could negotiate with the urologist today. I had been getting 2 ampules (250mg) but I think I should really be ok with 1 (125mg)

I can't find information on the effect on the liver though.

Intramuscular (IM) injections generally release the hormones gradually, although some people still describe a roller coaster effect. I wouldn't be concerned with this method of delivery. (Mine would be E instead of T, but the same principles apply.)

My Doctor (endocrinologist) prescribed Testosterone Cypionate IM injection of 1 CC of 200 Mg strength every 10 days or two weeks.

It is very similar to enanthate. It can cause a giant spike in T level.

I am sure you know the IM (Depo) injections are very different from a normal injections. The needle must be at least 1 inch long and completely imbedded into the muscle and be sure NOT in a vein.

You do not have to give it only in the glutes and actually it is very difficult to give yourself the shot in the ventrogluteal muscle (glutes)

You can give it in the deltoid (upper arm just below shoulder). That too is hard to do yourself.

I give myself the shot in Vastus Lateralis Muscle which is top side of sort of the bottom 1/3 of thigh. That can be moderately painful.

Do yourself a favor, Look on the internet, there are several very informative sites showing hw to do the IM injections and how to do them yourself.

Personally I would much prefer it to be done by the Doctor's nurse and in the glutes. That is the least painful and you do NOT have to do it yourself. The bad part of the Nurse doing it is it tends to get a little expensive every 10 days or two week

HOWEVER I to have the same problem as Caith721, I would much prefer to use something other than Testosterone.

As a matter of fact my biggest problem is trying to GET RID of testosterone, not increase it.

I've used both Enanthate and Cypionate, haven't found too much of a different between them.

As for where to inject, personally I use the thigh. My doc advised that just about anywhere in the 'outer quarter, middle third' was acceptable. For me, I've found injecting in the thighs to actually be LESS painful than having the doctor give them in the hip (and injection in the deltoid to be the most painful.) I'm not as concerned about speed, so I can use a smaller gauge, and can take it more slowly. Plus doing them myself has given me the freedom to adjust my dosage and timing more comfortably.

Giving yourself a shot in the glutes is really quite simple.

I am right handed so I give myself a shot in the lower left

quadrant. I reach accross my belly and using the right hand

to place the needle and depress the plunger is easy.Plus I can

see what I am doing

My dic doc wants me to have 2cc of T every 3 weeks

I quit taking the shots about 4 months ago and I could tell my

T levels were decreasing.

I did give myself 1cc (200mg) of T three days ago to see what

the effects would be. No noticeable psysical effects, like

more energy or thoughts of sex even with a good looking

20 something guy. I did wake this morning with a semihard

erection, but it was short and less turgid than several

months ago.

Injecting into the glutes is easy and not at all painful.

Shooting into the thigh is easier but may be sore for several days.

Hugs

Okay, this is my first post....So hmmmm....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Some background: I have used ethanate and cyrprionate for reasons that most on here don't (its not hard to figure out when I use 3cc's a week) and from my experience, they are about the same (the main differece is the oil they are blended with). Neither has a hard spike, like proprionate does, and to me they seem about equal. That said, I always inject into the glutes or pecs; I know the pec seems a bit morbid, but it is easy to asperate the syringe there. Also, as a side note (and I doubt this will be a problem for most EA visitors) NEVER inject more than 3cc's of this anywhere. YOU WILL get an oil abcess that is very painful and might possibly require medical attention --something that some of us don't want to draw attention to for obvious reasons.

When using T injections I stab myself in the thigh. Because the fluid is so thick I use a 20 gauge needle. The biggest problem is that I have to wait a few minutes before withdrawing the needle or the fluid starts to leak out. Either thigh or glute injections get sore with a hard knot at the injection site. --FLO--

Okay, so hmmm....this is my first post. Being an experienced user of test ethanate (along with various other substances in large quantities), I will tell you that there is no difference to me between ethanate and cyprionate. Both seem to hold well for a week. However, proprionate has a very short half life and must be injected every other day (for my purposes, probably not for most EA readers). I would recommend small (if for maintenance) doses of sustanon which is a blend of 4 types of test and seems to keep me on a more even keel. It has a small amount of proprionate which gives it a kick, but otherwise its smooth sailing. I know that I am not using it for what most on here are, as HRT, but for other uses (I think you know what I mean when I take about a gram a week). As a side not to anyone injecting: testosterone is blended with various purified oils (thats the difference between ethanate and cyprionate) and if you inject more than 3 cc's, you run the risk of an oil abscess which is very painful and may require medical attention.
