Submitting the same story twice

If you submit the same story twice the same day, for instance, because you made an error you want to correct, both will be deleted. I'm not reading through two stories trying to determine which one should be submitted.

I think Paolo has already said that any more than one story submission in one day will be deleted. I've let this slide before, but no more. Edit before hitting the submission button.

I deleted a story today because two copies of it were submitted. If that author wants to try again, submitting only one copy of it, either Paolo or I will take a look at it.

Sorry about that. Paolo emailed me when I first came back to help a bit with me understanding the new (to me) submission engine (sounds like a kinky BDSM device, hmmmm...) and I think I have it down (no pun intended again) by now.

What really helped is getting a newer version of my browser installed and setting a higher screen resolution so I could better read the wavy codes one must type in to submit. This story was then re-submitted correctly and I see there is just one in the hopper, so I think I am OK now with this one being ready for review and post at your convenience:

Paolo and Slammr do an excellent job with their writing and publishing. All writers should be thankful for the time these administrators are willing to spend away from their own works to help post other authors' works. I am thankful, very much so, to the talented and prolific duo.

I am catching up on my post reading and commenting too sometimes. I love the Slammr (and Sander) stories and the links I occassionally find to other sites where they post -- some very very very amazing stuff and especially high-tech with awesome graphics to go with their well-crafted prose.

PS to Theica: Thanks for the shout-out on your recent story. I agree that should our characters meet, they would clit it off quite nicely.

Your third story did not post yet. On the control panel page, there are right now zero stories under review, so perhaps you have not yet sent it in or that you have submission difficulties like I do sometimes. But, I will wait for it eagerly. I am honored that you intertwined our characters in our paradies.

I'm glad you were not offended that I used your character in a holiday song lampoon. "Theica's Claws are Coming to Town" was irrestible as a title as was "Your Nuts Roasting Over an Open Fire."

I love your stories and love your writing skills. I'm honored further that excellent writers and editors of edgy stuff like Paolo and Slammr offer us this story site to let us spin our whacky yarns.

Yet, I won't try to copy anyone's style because I have come to think that my weird style works for my weirdness where for others it likely would not -- and if I change much to get un-weird I might lose my weirdness. It is kind of weird to not want to lose weirdness. Weird?

On reflection, I would have titled it PrickiLeaks but then again I write hack and not literature.

Nice to know that I occasionally amuse at least one more than just myself.

I have to take more time to comment here to the many writers who submit their works. Based on the hit counts, there are a lot more readers of the EA than writers and those readers should say thanks for the efforts more often, IMHO.
