I'm not familiear with Hell Girl but the girl that played in the movie is much more beautiful than the anime version ever was. Charlize Theron looked incredible in the movie. I'd fight Hell Girl for THAT body... lol.

Both AF and HG share a darkness in there story and the mood of their story. Is there a lack of appreciation for ladies consumed in darkness involuntarily dealing with a world not of their choosing? Oh, and they happen to be dangerous.
