Paolo,
Shoot him, he did not commit murder,

Re: Castrated molester denied parole
This is way to vengeful, keeping him locked away. I don't agree with the California law.
Mind you, he is a child molester, but there are better ways to keep him away from children.
Please understand that I did five years of robotics with high school kids and everyone, myself included, was checked out before being left alone with the kids. Everyone had to obtain the certification that they had no complaints against them or any convictions. If you didn't do that, you were never left alone with kids.
And further, we always had at least about one adult per kid. We didn't have one adult alone with anyone, ever. not that we distructed anyone, but we structure the entire project so that no one spent hours alone with the kids.
I don't agree with that law.

vengence
I agree...
They should turn him loose after they do one or both of the following.
1. cut off his hands and legs...Moslem style.
2. Sever his spinal cord at T-3 so that he can breathe but not work his fingers...
Then he can go free!
If he manages to offend again then after conviction he can be put in a private dorm and used for sexual purposes by other inmate offenders...
So there!
A-1
P.S. If worse comes to worse you could always shoot him and send his family the bill for the bullet like they do in China...

That's Cruel and unusual punishment.
By the way, Moslems only cut hands off of thieves and when they do, they let them keep the stuff they stole. I had friends who worked in Saudi Arabia under contracts and they ALWAYS specified that if they did anything wrong they were to be deported and put on trial in the USA.
And as for T3, You ought to hang your head in shame for making such a statement. I work with paraplegics and quadriplegics and doing that on purpose to anyone is very, very wrong. It's also a rather obnoxious suggestion to make even in sarcastic humor.
Have you guys forgotten that forgiveness and redemption is promised to everyone, not just those who think they are righteous!

Re: Castrated molester denied parole
says...
1. It might be cruel but it is not unusual in Arab countries.
2. What molester can put a child back the way that they were before they molested them?
3. Most Arab lands (Including Saudi Arabia) execute molesters. So, in SAUDI ARABIA we would not need to discuss this.
4. I pity the "American Worker" who molests a Saudi Child and gets caught. (I lied, not REALLY.) They would probably just "disappear" never to be heard from again.
5. If you are looking for forgiveness in this life then go find it from someone besides me. I forgive them AFTER they are dead and not able to molest children again.
and also...
1. This is NOT sarcastic humor. I AM SERIOUS!
2. This is not as wrong as molesting children! Besides that, YOU are the one who suggested that they NOT be killed. I only stated the conditions that I would be agreeable with letting them live.
3. Note that I did not suggest that the paralytic child molester be tormented, teased and physically tortured by children as a condition for being allowed to live. So, things could have been worse, yes, they could have. People who are paralyzed can lead very productive lives. What's the matter, man, don't you believe in re-habilitation?
4. Since we are in disagreement about the conditions under which these vermin be allowed to live and I sense that you are NOT going to lose YOUR self-righteousness, I respectfully WITHDRAWL my suggestions regarding the conditions under which they be allowed to live and DEMAND that the BASTARDS ALL BE SHOT RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES WITH A HIGH POWERED RIFLE WITH EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS. This way, no bleeding hearts would be subjected to an open-casket funeral and a tearful farewell. (This is in the interest of mercy for the hurt to the next-of-kin that they shamed, that still love them and that can not bear seeing harm come to no one, even a child-molester.)
5. As for the shame part, if these low-lifes can expect mercy in court and keep their heads held high then I can and will DEMAND that they have consequences for their actions.
Now, don't get me wrong. I am all for the public trial so that the victim can be made to re-live their hideous molestation in front of those who would watch. All guilty parties are entitled to a fair trial before they are shot.

Re: Castrated molester denied parole
Since I have never been molested, and never have molested, I am always suprised that it so greatly affects the children involved. The same goes for rape. and the way it affects women (and men I guess).
I really don't understand how a bad (or very bad) experience can hurt someone so much. I guess my only point of reference is physical violence, which I've experienced a lot. I've been severely beaten, I've been robbed, I've been shot at, but none of that has ever made me feel bad after the physical wounds have healed.
I totally acknowledge that a priest fondling a boy is disgusting, but I don't understand why it would ruin the boy's life.
The reason why I express this lack of understanding is that I feel it is fundamental to the question of punishment. If child molestation really ruins an otherwise good kids potential for a productive life, then it is a serious crime. But is it murder? I think a capital punishment should be reserved for crimes that involve willful loss of life.
The molester in the article mentioned at the beginning of this thread is obviously too far gone, and has done too much damage, for even forgiveness to help him. He molested 100 kids, and if he even ruined 1% of each of their lives then he has ruined a full life and needs to take responsibility for it.
However, I think that just because a crime is disgusting that we do not need to overreact with the punishment. If they haven't taken a full life, then they should not be punished capitally.
Furthermore, I really scorn the victim mentality so prevalent in our society. So what if your parents beat you, or your priest sucked your dick? I think the human spirit is tougher than that.
I guess that while a lot of people like to be tough on criminals, I prefer to be tough on victims. It's like America and 9/11 -- is America ruined now? Or have they rallied and become stronger?

Re: Castrated molester denied parole
As a strong man with your background that you have made known to us I will put it to you this way.
If someone does something that is repugnant the best way to let it be known that such things WILL NOT be tolerated is to make the retribution swift and terrible. The phrase 10 fold immediately comes to mind. And which one of us would have the energy to fuck this bastard 1000 times? No, shoot him is the best answer.
I agree that first-time offenders may not need to be treated in the manner that I have described but as YOU so keenly observed 100 children? This is WAY over the line and there is virtually no chance of mistaken identity, lying child or other such reasonable doubt. If you read the article, this over-sexed baby raper picked on mostly little girls under the age of 12. His wife who was supposedly a counselor didn't report him and thus enabled him to get his count so high.
Rehabilitation after 100 molestations and castration. C'mon, people, get real! The sooner this bastard is sent to the next plane of existance the better this plane of existance becomes.
No, I'd personally shoot him if I had the chance and could get by with it. If I tweaked someone's tail then so be it.
I am sure that my sentiments are not unusual in our society. As for Mr Osama binLaden, as we all know he must have had an abusive childhood, right?
So all he needs is the swingset that I am sure will heal his deprived youth. So, in the spirit of rehabilitation for this monster I am enclosing an illustration of his swing set...

Re: Castrated molester denied parole
Lively debate.
Just play nice, kids.
I'm all for giving someone a second chance. Everyone screws up at one time or another.
But 100 chances? Goodnight, Irene ... as it's been said, this guy is too far gone!
So what do you do with someone like that? I don't know. I prefer to shoot his ass, really. After all, he had 100 chances. I'll be damned if I give him 101.
A-1, being from the same general Midwest locale as I (within one state away), is probably familiar with Zachary's Law. Some years ago, in Cloverdale, IN - within a 45 min. drive of where I live - a 10 yo. boy (namesake) was molested and murdered by a repeat child molester. This guy was cunning, and he knew what he was doing. By all common sense, he shouldn't have been running about loose, but he was.
The system isn't perfect, by any means, no matter whose system it is. Still, perhaps if there's enough debate, someone will eventually come up with a good answer.
