I was on androcur 100mg/day (then 50mg/day) two times. First one - for two months if I remember correctly. Second one - for 5½ months.

Changes in appearance - face looks softer, much slower growth of facial hair and it was lighter in color (or was it just sun?). By the end of the second time I had some breast growth (not much, mostly puffy nipples). Body shape - I can not say much, I was always slim, and I haven't measured. One more thing that I noticed - smoother and drier skin.

I was afraid to add estrogen both times.

Thanks fhunter.. You were afraid of the estrogen for fear of liver problems, I assume...I was reading a post from 2007. (you may have reposted it) and it lays out the most commonly, and presumably the safest pharmacological approach to elimination of male traits and assimilation of some female traits...Things that I would want...I've been a crossdresser all my life...and really don't know what the hell I am...Lately I have taken some steps toward feminizing my appearance.. Pierced my ears...I shave my body, totally...I've had penis rings for many years now....and I shave my head and have multiple tattoos on it, I just gave myself a french pedicure.. I do know I like to look pretty, and love the feel of soft feminine clothing.....

What the hell does it all mean?? Hehe I take it with a grain of salt...I'm still trying to figure it all out...My wife thinks I'm gay and/or nuts..I'm pretty sure I'm not gay (I think)...But man..I sure as hell am different... dragonfly

I am something like dragonfly because I too don't know what the hell I am. As I have gotten older the feeling I should be female has gotten much more intense. I hate my genitals and would luv to have them gone, I love wearing very feminine clothing, I keep my body shaved and feel sick to my stomach when I have to dress and present as male.

Even my wife can see that my penis doesn't belong between my legs. It seems so out of place. I probably am transsexual in denial but I don't know how to handle this. What I do know is that this is not a way to enjoy retirement which is suppose to be the golden

years. It seems this hunger to be a woman controls my life. Anyone have any suggestions.

I'm retired too...But I am still closeted..although, my appearance and proclivity for feminine things might be becoming clear to my wife and others...I'm such a chicken shit...besides, I'm really not sure what I am...I'd love to be castrated and go from there...I love being bald, tattooed and ear ringed, and cock ringed...

I sure know that feeling, question? have you talked to your wife at all about this? if so you might try chemical castration, take it on a test drive and see how you both like it. I know at our age sex is not a driving force so there might be a solution that is something you can live with and something your wife can live with as well. I know once I was castrated I have no longer had any desire to remove any other parts of my body, all those feelings left.
