Her comments on the testicle vulnerability presented me the idea of my sister and mother herself having the advantage over me of not possessing the male genitalia. So I didn't felt strictly in the Freudian way when little boys think that girls are just unlucky boys who'd lost their penises. For me they were lucky ones compared to me or other boys.
