I think that Riverwind's post on this is about the same as mine: I think it's stunningly bad behavior.

Have a brother that was a big boy and a cousin that was also a big boy, pops and uncle measured all threeof us from 10years to 14years of age each summer when we were on the swim team. Rather funny now that I think of it. We all were 8 and of course the ego brother of mine is a 10x6.5, Surpassed dad...at 14 my bro had a girlfriend and it all stopped. He moved on to other things and became a football star. The spirit of the measure was considered macho guy stuff , of course at 15 I feel in love with my track mate and he was much more interesting than anyone else and only maybe a 6. ciao.,

My dad didn't measure my dick, but when I was 10-11 he stretched it everynight. I was made to come to my folks bed and while my mom watched, my dad would stretch me for about an hour each night. This went on for about 6 months By the time he stopped the "operations" I had learned to enjoy them and so I've continued my whole life doing painful things to my genitals.

Interestingly, if you look at internet forums about this it is mostly mothers who worry about their son's penis size. And it is really dumb because they often are talking about infants (like 1 to 3 years old). What do they expect on a baby? What does a baby need with a big penis?

But honestly, any parent that does this is wrong on so many levels. First of all, it is likely that the parent is projecting some sort of body dysmorphia onto their child, which is a really sad thing to do. Secondly, it could be a perversion on the part of the parent to take too much interest in such a thing.

On the other hand, it is tricky because sometimes you do need to talk to your child about their genitals. My son is 9 now, and I've been wondering a few things. First of all 9 was the age I first started damaging my own genitals. It would be very sad to me if my son had the same sort of torment in his life, and if he had such tendencies I would love to be able to treat the disorder before it becomes habitual and serious. Also, even if he doesn't have such tendencies there are things like penis hygiene to discuss. Also, my wife and I haven't seen his penis since he stopped wearing diapers, so for all we know maybe he does have a medical issue (like malformed or underdeveloped genitalia) that we should be treating.

So it is a tricky thing. You want your kid to be healthy physically and psychologically, and that means taking care of their sexual development. But you don't want to transfer your own hang-ups, worries and perversions on to them.

You are right, I raised 4 sons and once they were out of dippers I never saw them naked again and they in turn I do believe are the same way with there sons, 7 grandsons so far.

This year you could suggest that there is a surgery for that to make him normal, that way he would no longer be a freak and aunt Marge would no longer have those nightmares about her son with the deformed dick.
