Lyrica

Post by Wellesley (imported) »

Started a different thread for this one,

For me the lyrica is working really well. Cognitive function is not great on it though pain is down from a 7 or 8 to like a 3 so I am happy with it. Once every 12 hours is ok but at the 10th hours the effect wears off and around the 11 hour it is back like someone threw a switch.

I can only get a week's worth of doses at once. Anyone tried 75 mgs 3 times per day?

Cheers

Please make sure you don't have an allergy to Lyrica.

If you experience breathing problems or "chest cold" symptoms, get off of it at once.

This stuff nearly killed my aunt.

Thanks,

I think that was the problem with my last med, it gave me breathing problems.

the lyrica gives me a "high" or something that is too much sometimes, that and the comedown / 11 hour is tough between.

No breathing issues with lyrica, pretty magic stuff I think

Rather than stretching out the dosing to 12 hours, ask the doctor to prescribe three times a day. That will even out the roller coaster ride. Eventually most of the side effects tend to go away, though some can be hazardous.

Thanks I will do that Friday,

Also I will schedule for orchiectomy on Friday. Having talked it out with the wife, friends etc. HRT is manageable I think it is the right choice.

Cheers

Thanks
