Medicines that cause Erectile Disfunction without damaging your testes.

Post by impotentus (imported) »

I want to know many medicines that cause ED without messing with your testosterone and testicles. Of course I´ve heard about siterone, androcure and those, but these are testosterone blockers. I´ve heard about pseudoefedrine, but this is banned where I live. But, i´ve heard about others medicines that cause the same effect without causing any damage in your balls. Maybe I am asking the impossible? Thanks to all who read this and answer.🙏🙏🙏

I have seen it mentioned here before that SSRIs are known to cause impotence in some people. When I took them, I never had any issues with getting erect, but I did have a very hard time reaching orgasm. However, many here have reported that SSRIs cause them to become impotent.

You might also look into DHT blockers such as finasteride or dutasteride. These do not touch regular T (and could even increase it due to reduced conversion to DHT), so they should not cause most of the effects of castration, but they can cause impotence.

Doesn´t finasteride cause your testes some damage? I´ve heard some people that take finasteride and their testes start becoming smaller (which is some atrophy)

Also, that testosterone blocks doesn´t damage your system? I really would appreciate some advice. Thank you.

If I remember high levels of Prolactin will cause loss of lido and impotence.

Oh yes, those damned SSRIs and SNRIs will definitely bring some frustration to the table regarding orgasm.

finasteride and it's relatives are alpha-blockers, right? Those are NASTY. I mean hey, they do their job very well, but they come with side effects like lowered stamina. I couldn't even jog half my distance when on them before.

I'm not well versed on medicines, but maybe a vaso-dilator (something that engorges the blood vessels) might help to trigger ED since the body must constrict the exiting vessels from the penis to get an erection...(If I'm remembering right...)

I've studied this a lot and unfortunately libido is closely related to sex hormones which in turn are associated with all sorts of complex interactions including mood, ability to control compulsions/addictions, muscle strength, bone density, etc.

It is very difficult to turn off libido without a side effect of some sort. I propose that the best we can hope for is to blunt the libido a bit, dial it down, with whatever has the least side effect for you.

For me SSRI definitely helped manage libido and sex addiction. However, it also made me mentally muddled which affected my professional skills and it made me detached which affected my relationships. It wasn't really bad, but ultimately it was not for me.

But it is worth trying all the various angles to figure out what works for you. I personally like being very fit and strong, so anything that made me weaker or lethargic is a no-go. But for others who are more sedate may not have any problem with that.
