DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO INDIA TO HAVE SURGERY!!!!

While you are searching for "orichectomy india", do yourself a favour and search for "india superbug" or "ndm-1"

There have been a number of cases (US, UK, Canada, elsewhere) of people who went to India for surgery coming home with a brand-new superbug. Until this stuff gets sorted out, I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone travel there for the purposes of surgery.

Yeah, I agree about India. Thailand seems safer, maybe even Singapore. http://www.health-tourism.com/orchiectomy/thailand/

I checked with India and got a quotation for an Orchiectomy for just under $2000. Included in this price was 5 days "all inclusive" at the hospital.

The operation would be performed in Nagpur "Specialised Andro Urology Centre".:dong:

I checked with Thailand but the cost was almost twice as high as in India.

Dr. Harold Reed Miami FL

Orchiectomy Procedure

See photographic examples when combined with scrotal removal - click here.

The Orchiectomy Procedure is an independent procedure that can be performed for those who wish to eliminate testosterone surge and achieve some degree of secondary feminization without complete penectomy and vaginoplasty.

As this is an irreversible procedure, 2 letters of therapy clearance are required.

One therapist (psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, sexologist) must have

a doctoral degree, and one of the two therapists must know the patient for an

extended period of time. Conceivably one of the two therapists can satisfy the

requirements for a doctoral degree and knowing the patient for an extended period of

time. Consideration may be given to sperm banking prior to orchiectomy.

Pre-op lab is also required. Fee to include orchiectomy, local anesthesia with IV

sedation, and followup care as provided by the Reed Centre.

Fee : $2,500.

For those patients who wish simultaneous removal of scrotum, please add an additional $1,500 to the orchiectomy fee.
