Weather is getting more reasonable, I think we've had our last frost, and all the trees are starting to bud.... Only problem is all the plants that keep having unprotected sex in my nose... :( 🤧 💧

We're looking at sunny, mid-80'sF temps again, with 50F~ at night. We've had frost and even freezes here in south-central IN/IL area up to June 1 week the past few years, though. In fact, last year, we had patchy scattered frost here the morning of June 1. So I don't trust it yet.

Ever since I moved to Virginia nearly 9 years ago, it has taken some time to warm up consistently, usually around the first of June. So having it be nearly 90 here the past few days has shocked my lawn into drought mode, though the back yard is going gangbusters, which considering the past two years it's simply been a red clay sand lot. It looks great out there this year, finally after two years of being here.

But like Paolo, I'm convinced we're going to get cold again before it's over. Just last Saturday it was in the 50's here, but that was a single day after being buffered on one side by high 70's then mid-upper 80's this week.

I just want pollen season to be over. I feel like Mother Nature is trying to murder me this year.

FWIW, The GF had a medical appointment today, and she said the nurse she mentioned her allergies to said that ALL of her patients were reporting their allergies to be really bad this year.... You aren't alone

Same

Same

here in Southern coastal California

The Mulberry & Boysenberry are doing well.

Making fruits while the fruit trees are not happy.

I ponder if "this is it" for the Apricot & Sugar Plum trees

I guess we could say: "Be glad that you are where you are, so long as you're not in the Midwest US." It's been crazy. We had tornado (no touchdown) spotted today, quarter sized hail, and torrential "minute rains" that nearly put the creek over the road. Tomorrow calls for chances of more of the same, including winds up to 60 mph.

No tornadoes here.

Maybe termed "water spouts"

once they hit land and they dissipate

Support rebuilding the

Great Interior Lakes

Among other benefits is diverting tornado activity
