Re: There's Always The Weather
We've been getting highs in the mid to upper 70s F. About 30+ degrees F higher than normal. Just enjoying it while we can. Winter is here too soon.
Re: There's Always The Weather
After an upper 20'sF freeze on Wednesday night, we had 65F, then 75F, as highs. The weekend and Monday were 3 days in a row of 80F, but that's going tomorrow as the front moves through and hopefully brings some much-needed rain. The air is so dusty and dirty from all the crops being picked that it's just awful.

There has to be something to the crops being harvested. Even here in Minneapolis, the rain overnight dropped mud all over everything. My car was brown with mud this morning. Had to get a bucket of hot water to clear the windows. Good thing I gave myself 35 minutes lead time to make my appointment at 0900.

Rarely below 50F
yet "feels" so cold.
Highs barely hit 70F
No rain

Re: There's Always The Weather
We're finally reaching 60ºF by the night and early morning. It's finally the wintery last weeks of autumn!
Also, today after almost half a year of severe drought, it rained again!! Still not enough, though
just some weak showers, but it's cloudy and grey and cold and you can smell the petrichor and that make me really happy :hearthrob
I hate living in such a dry mediterranian city were you can only get cold and rain maybe 2 months a year each
We're surrounded by mountains and the sea so it's almost impossible to get some precipitation here

Re: There's Always The Weather
Last Thursday, it was ~75F and sunny. Low that night, ~50F.
Also the high for Friday, but partly sunny.
Friday night, upper 20's.
Saturday morning, ~3" of snow and windy with temps hardly breaking freezing, 32F/0C.
This Friday night is going to be even better, with a forecast low in the low teens!
And now it's dark at 4-4:30pm here.
I f'in HATE winter.

Re: There's Always The Weather
We also had our first global warming of the season last night... It didn't stick on the roads, but I had to go up the wheelchair ramp at home backwards - for some reason my chair does slick surfaces better in reverse than it does forwards...
I also hate winter, and will believe in global warming when I stop having to scrape it off my windshield and pay to get it scraped off my driveway...

We always get a lot of snow in winter, which we have to remove ...
For my brother, who lives in a private house with a garden plot, winter brings some problems
I just pay for the snow removal of the housing management company that maintains my apartment building.
How does your dog feel about winter?
