So far it is Tshirt December in the afternoons. Yikes. Way too warm. Ernie, put away your snow shovel and get out your broom!

For the last 24 hours, the weather app on my phone has scrolling a red alert weather warning about a pending 1" of snow tonight. It's really annoying. Of course, around here, as soon as the weather-guesser says "snow," every idiot in town runs to the grocery store and they clean it out. They don't seem to register the amount of snow forecast. They just hear "snow" and panic.

We got some 45 mph wind, or so, and some downed trees. Power was out from 130 am to 10 am Saturday morning. Not even that much rain. The first line went north, then the second line sort of weakened and split in the center, nearly missing Terre Haute, IN.

2" of rain! Per my own "rain glass"

Unbelievable but, true. More than I have witnessed for years.

Major wind but, not compared to @Paolo

More like 20mph with gusts near 30mph.

More weather to follow. 😄

Moi 🚬

BTW anyone here from @fhunter lately.

Normally from you we get 60mph with gusts up to hurricane status.

Visiting grandson in Kansas. Several truck accidents and jack knifes Flagstaff east into New Mexico. The usual hours long traffic backup (seasonal?) between Grants and Albuquerque (take your GPS and do the Route 66 thing to get around it). One truck laid out perfectly on its side in Kansas. Probably wind. 90 mph measured at Army base. Got here and power had been out for 7 hours. A valve burst when power came back on and flooded the town water plant. No water for a day.
