Re: There's Always The Weather
Cold snow on the ground and sunny I can live with that unlike when I was a child and the snow was piled up to the telephone lines and you didn't see the sun from the end of October to the beginning of may. I love global warming

Driveway is wet! I see you are from Penn, Chesley. Grandfolks were Uppers from Ironwood. MI. I remember a photo of them using the second story window as the door.

Re: There's Always The Weather
Another fine sunny day in new pa. An exciting thing happened today in meadville we finally got a dunkin doughnuts in town the grand opening was this morning and the line for service went around the building twice and they were parking down the highway.
Re: There's Always The Weather
We have the dreaded "wintry mix" forecast for tonight and tomorrow, and every idiot in this town is making war at the grocery store because of it. As usual. Every time they say "snow", everyone freaks out. I would not have gone, had it not been for the fact that all I had in the pantry was canned goods, and I didn't want salty vegetable soup. What I wanted was sliced ham that was not 99% sugar, and finally found some. That, and a bag of tangerines that was not full of rotten ones. So far, just light rain here and a temp of 42F.

No Precip in Southern California and
none in the most distant forecasts.
One Jet Stream takes it down to Mexico
and another to Northern California to the 49th.
We are locked in a dry zone between the two.
Highs not up to 70.
Lows in the low fifties.
Not very weatherful at all.

I wish we did have a crispy creams they are great I don't know about dunking doughnuts I've had them before.
Re: There's Always The Weather
Back in the 80's, when we were just starting out with driving, the nearest Dunkin' Donuts was 40 miles away. A couple times a week, on impulse, late at night, we'd make a run. It was a contest to see who could get there first. It was a miracle that none of us ever got arrested doing it. Krispy Kremes are nasty!

Hell grits are like eating sand.
